“When my grandmother passed, I inherited her travel bag which was originally made of faux sky blue pebbled leather, unbranded, and crafted over 30 years ago.
After using it for over two years as a unisex everyday bag–perfect for my laptop, creative work, and travel (and getting compliments on it almost daily) I decided to make one with some modern additions, and in more colors.
Considering my grandmother’s love for gardening, vibrant colors, and a luxurious bold style I remade the bag in real leather and bold colorways as a tribute to her. One that was long-lasting and included extra handles, a trolley sleeve, interior pockets, a key ring, a removable shoulder strap, and rivets on the bottoms.
It was a way I could share my love for my grandmother, a big inspiration in my life because of our mutual love of travel and fashion, and incorporate my own values of embracing your authentic self.”
